NANIMA’S PANCHAAT
PETROL SERVICE: The price of petrol is going up once again. You’d think that especially now, when you are almost paying an arm and a leg for petrol the service will be efficient. For Thabo’s sake, a full tank of petrol is equivalent to a new dvd player or TV. Every time I go to this one petrol station, I just want to scream at their lethargy. They seriously need some competition. They are so slow and unfriendly. I find the red kind all over town has the same bad service, they have a star on their badge for nothing. I also noticed the blue brand is much friendlier and faster and more efficient. Every time I went to one of their stations 2 or 3 people run to help especially in Tshwane. I have been to a few blue ones and the service was consistent. Let’s take a poll: which petrol station has the best service? Engen BP Shell Caltex Sasol Total
BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA OR HILARY ROTHAM CLINTON: Right at this minute, everyone is on their nerves especially Clintons and Obamas. I am sure when you read this the suspense will be over. Nail biting stuff. First Woman or First African American
FEBRUARY RESTAURANT REVIEW: Kashif’s fusion food : Brand new out of the box restaurant, Mint Road Fordsburg. We were seated at the wok side, right under the chef Kashif’s nose while he was preparing the meals. We tried to spy at what goes into the meals while flames exploded and entertained the little one as he cooked the divine meals. Prices are reasonable or relative compared to the Mongoo place on the other side. Variety of foods on offer: Stir fries, fish dishes and other mouth watering specialties. Waiters were friendly, but are still learning the ropes. The Malaysian prawns I had were delicious. A mixture of herbs and spices.. so much for my spy work, I couldn’t figure out what was in it. I could taste the coconut milk- other ingredients well must be a secret recipe.. Send us a review of a restaurant in your area for next month’s . restaurant review

NANIMA’S WISE WORDS
When life serves you lemons, make lemonade.
NANIMA’S REMEDY
Lemon
Lemon contains citric acid, it quickly changes the body’s acid condition into an alkaline one. Lemon juice in water with a little honey, 2-3 times/day helps cure halitosis (bad breath)! Sometimes a shot of lemon or lime juice will cure your hiccups! Lemon juice daily first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach) eliminates water retention, helps with weight reduction, and keeps the system alkaline. For the flu, juice one lemon and add a cup of hot water with honey.

NANIMA’S GREEN FINGERS
Energy saving lights Ok, so here’s the deal. Eskom has a campaign regarding exchanging your old light bulbs for a new energy efficient light bulbs. We were a little proactive and decided we wanted to do our bit to save energy this weekend. We bought energy efficient lights and enthusiastically changed all the light bulbs. When we switced it on at night it felt as if we were living on star trek space ship. The light was so bright it made our eyes water and almost gave us a migraine. After doing some investigation we found that we bought the wrong watt bulb. We bought 14W = 75W. We had to get a 11W=60W or lower bulb. We changed all the bulbs back to the energy eating ones and took the space ship ones back. We bought a 11W =60W bulb. Works like a charm and saves 49W per bulb.Take your power back,be grateful, “Stop whining, no one likes a whiner”(Hamza Yusuf) and be part of the solution, not the problem.
