Dry Fruit Achaar Recipe

Fathima Dhooma Desai Dried fruit atchaar

1 kg dried fruit
1 cup vinegar
1.5 to 2 cups sugar
1.5 cup water
1/2 cup methi masala
1 tsp crushed jeeru
1/4 cup oil
2 T tal (sesame seeds)
1/4 to 1/2 cup crushed chilles
2 cloves slices garlic
Curry leaves
Little mustard seeds

Boil fruit,water , sugar and vinegar until it swells. Remove. Add methi masala , crushed chillies and jeeru.
Make wagaar with garlic,tal,green chillies,mustard seeds , curry leaves and oil.
Pour over fruit

Sugra’s Savoury Treats Dried Fruit Achaar

‎1 kg dried fruit
2kg brown sugar
2lt brown vinegar.
Boil vinegar and sugar to make a syrup and add whole almonds while boiling.
Turn off and add dried fruit and sprinkle sesame seeds over eat da next day
