THIS COMPETITION IS CLOSED 201
What Baking Tannie final contestant will be baking?
We will announce this when the finalist is announced. All we can say is it won’t be macarons as this will melt before it gets to us..
All final baking will be collected by our courier to try and ensure it gets to us in one piece, safe and sound.
I’d like to know how the top 3 finalists will be determined? Usually competitions like these require the public to vote. However, if one doesn’t have many family or friends on Facebook or on the internet, this poses a problem, even if he/she has baked something beautifully. Also, many people vote over and over again to up their own vote count. Is there an alternative to keep things fair?
this is not a facebook like competition – votes will take place on this page and each person that votes will only be able to vote only once from that IP address. we will try our best to keep it a fair as possible. have some controls in place.. watch this space..
Please Nanima, if you could specify that while the public votes, the ultimate decision for the finals is up to the judges. I have come across many online competitions where fake profiles etc are created to increase votes. Unfortunately there is no fair way, unless a panel of judges determines top three. Hope all this is taken into consideration.
