Rocket Savoury Recipe

Sister Ammarah from Radio Islam sent me this recipe. Was wondering what this rocket rocket everyone was talking about. The only rocket I heard about was the one NASA launched recently. Anyway here is a pic of how it looks and the recipe. Still not 100% how it should be folded… anyway the filling sounds yummy. Apparently the inventor of the rocket Samoosa is a home industry in Heidleburg and  Alhamdulillah the lady manages to make these and sell them even though she is semi blind. 1 kg Chicken fillet washed, cubed and drained

To chicken add: 

Salt to taste

Green Chillies to taste

2 Tblsp crushed garlic

1 tsp Jeera

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp lemon pepper

Cubed Green Pepper

Cook on low heat and when it is done add a tin of cream style sweetcorn, then cook again and cool.

Add the following 

1 cup grated tussers cheese

1 cup grated mozarella cheese

1 cup grated Gouda cheese

Mix cheeses with chicken mixture well

Fill samoosa pur with this mixture and shape like rocket using flour paste.

Make sure all edges are sealed.

Dip in egg and roll in breadcrumbs

Aarifah Docrat Pandor Ok this is what i found out Take a strip of pur , slightly broader than a samoosa strip , fold almost like a samoosa , the base of the rocket will be longer than the normal samoosa. Practice on a strip of paper , it works , the end product resembles a rocket
