What I did
It was my first attempt @ a proper French Madeleine and so I googled until I found a recipe I wanted to try and it was the recipe by Julia Child.
With regard to the detail of how I went about baking it, I followed the recipe to the T and did the steps as it was mentioned in the recipe. I omitted the lemon zest as I had none on hand and also omitted the bergamot for the same reason. I also baked them in the mini madeleine pan, because it bakes 20 minis at a time I refrigerated my batter between each baking batch.
