I have an older brother who is 2 years older than I am. Naturally we grew up together and were very close. He met a girl about 3 years ago and I feel he has changed a lot. Talks differently, dresses differently and does weird stuff that the brother i knew wouldn’t do. He no longer has time for me and my other siblings and Everything has become about his girlfriend (soon to be wife). They work together and so it gets annoying when he comes home and still wants to spend his time talking over the phone to her instead of part taking in family things. He would rather go over to the girls house and spend time with her siblings instead of his own. I love my brother deeply and always had a good relationship with him but as the days go by I see him slipings away from the family into a whole new world and becoming a new person. His finance isn’t very interested in being part of our family or having a relationship with me. She ignores polite WhatsApps i send to her and doesn’t meet me halfway in being friends. I fear that one day I’ll move on and so will my brother and the beautiful bond we once shared will be destroyed. I fear this might happen with him and our other siblings too. I also fear that as my brother moves towards being a husband, his sister counts for nothing. This makes me feel extremely hurt and like I am heading to be one of those people that have a strained relationship with this sister in law. What can I do?
