Amazon Hunt and her cousin Frazer are members of the TRACKS an organisation formed to protect the worlds critically endangered and rare animals. They are now in the forests of Canada with Amazons uncle, Hal Hunt, looking for her parents who were lost in a plane crash. Suddenly they come across two spirit bears-a mother and her cub-searching for food and shelter, but when news of a bear attack on a little boy and his camp reaches the site where Amazon and the rest of the TRACK team are staying, these snow-white predators become the prey! Hunters from all parts of Canada are coming to kill the rogue bear, and Uncle Hal goes off to search for it too! Amazon and Frazer are all alone at the camp-but of course they CANNOT be left behind! Join them as they set off on a search through the Canadian forest! Can they find the rogue bear in time to save the others? Will Amazon find her parents? Or is all hope lost?! It is an action packed book although it is a little young for 12 year olds. I’d recommend it to 8-10 year olds who are interested in adventure and action books, and I’m sure anyone who enjoyed this one will like Leopard Adventure and Shark Adventure which are written by the same author!
