The real Nanima forwarded this to me. Must be from one of her BBM foodie groups.  Still amazed at her age how she has embraced technology. Looks very interesting. During the weekend I saw an electric cupcake maker. When I saw this picture I was intrigued. It makes a lot of sense. The waffle maker that works similar to the sandwich maker makes waffles that has a similar cake like mixture. Clever to use a sandwich snackwich maker.  Would be interesting to try out..

 

SANDWICH MAKER RAINBOW CAKES

 

INGREDIENTS

 

flour 1-1/2 cup

sugar 3/4 cup

butter 3/4 cup

eggs 3

vanilla assance 1 tsp

baking powder 1-1/2 tsp

food colors

 

METHOD

beat butter and sugar well till light and creamy .add egg one by one beating well after each.add vanilla essance .sieve flour and baking powder 2-3 times fold this into butter with spatula.can add 2 tbsp milk if too thick.

divide batter in 5-6 bowls add food colors .pour in greased and hot sandwich maker as shown .close lid cook 4-5 min.remove serve.
