Kebaab

Written by on July 10, 2012 in Easy Recipes

Ok, so I have decided to experiment and see if I could make kebabs. It was so easy. Will definitely make again. easy cos I bought ready made mince. (was going to make from scratch and finally unpack the magimix, but decided to take short cut instead.)

Once you have already minced steak or chicken mince, you wash and drain it. you cut the greens i.e chillies, dhana and spring onions. went through 3 veggies shops in fordsburg before I could find green dhana and spring onions. there seems to be shortage in the market, can see that ramadan is near. Blended bread, mixed everything together. Bachoo and I sat and made the kebabs. did not have freezer space to freeze the kebab. I removed the quick free tray cleaned it up and placed the kebaabs in there to freeze, so i could pack away in a container. also decided to do a taste test and made some spaghetti and meat balls. there goes half the supply..

Recipe

1 kg mince steak/chicken

4 slices bread either made in bread crumbs or soaked and drained

2 t ginger garlic

2 t green chillies or your taste

2 t dhana jeeru

1,5 teaspoon salt

1 bunch dhana

half bunch spring onion

1 egg

Method

1. Place bread in food processor and blend until fine or soak it in water and drain it

2. Mix all ingredients

3. make into the size you want kebabs by making circles

4. fry, air fry or bake in oven

1kg mince made about 40 bachoo and nanima kebaabs i.e about 3.3 dozen
