NANIMA’S PANCHAAT

FERTILITY PROBLEMS- MEDINA LEAVES: If you having trouble to conceive this herb may be your answer. I used it. Cousins of mine have used it after trying for years to conceive. My mother has been giving these leaves out for years. She has a long list of people that it has helped. It has helped many people struggling to have children. Apparently it strengthens the womb. You boil it like making strong black tea, let it cool and then refrigerate. Every morning as soon as you wake up before you brush your teeth even, you make your intention to conceive and you drink it on an empty stomach (be warned very bitter). What amazes me is that no one knows what it is called. It is found in Medina, Saudi Arabia. When a person goes on the tour/ziyaraat to Mount Uhud near Hamzah(RA) grave, you find people selling herbs. You make a gesture with your hand like a pregnant belly and they show you these leaves. I tried asking someone what it is called they said just tell them haml tiflun blare (oops blare is Afrikaans, I am not sure what the Arabic term for leaves is) meaning pregnant or child in Arabic. If you know what it is called please let me know? If you know someone going to Medina ask them to find out the name and bring some back. If you want to know more about this contact me for Medina Leaves info

FALSE TEETH: People will rather bungee jump, sky dive, go on the tower of terror at Gold Reef City or chew from one side of the mouth for months then go to the dentist. I am a regular at the dentist. With that magic new gel that makes you numb before the injection comes, visiting the dentist is a breeze. Main reason for my regular visits and mouth full of fillings is my addiction to that black sugary fizzy poison. I have been to three dentists to fill this one tooth right at the back of the mouth. All three of them didn’t see the big hole on the side of the tooth. It was bigger then the groot gatjie in Kimberely. All three of them were filling the wrong place. (After using xray technology). The oral hygienist was right certain places only floss can reach. Only after I decided to extract it did the fourth dentist actually see the hole. I was diagnosed with acid erosion after the fourth visit as well. The only thing that can cure it is leaving the black poison and drinking more water. Cut down on achaar, chutney, vinegar salad dressing, and anything acidic… Dental timeshare, step closer to false teeth or change my ways. Eish, Let’s hope this week’s remedy will help my cause.

NANIMA’S WISE WORDS

“The nations morals are like its teeth, the more decayed they are the more it hurts to touch them” George Bernad Shaw

NANIMA’S REMEDY

MISWAAK/SIWAK
It is a natural toothbrush made from the twigs of the Salvadora persica tree, also known as the arak tree or the peelu tree. Other tree types that are used are the olive, walnut, and other trees with bitter roots.

  • In addition to strengthening the gums, preventing tooth decay and eliminating toothaches Miswaak is also said to halt further increase in decay that has already set in. Furthermore it is claimed to create a fragrance in the mouth, eliminate bad odour, improve the sense of taste and cause the teeth to glow and shine.
  • Other benefits include sharpening memory, curing headaches, creating a lustre on the face of the one who continually uses it, strengthening the eyesight, assisting in digestion and clearing the voice.
  • Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) highly recommended it’s use before religious prayer, before entering one’s house, before and after going on a journey, on Fridays, before and after sleeping, when experiencing hunger or thirst and before entering any good gathering.
  • Dental research has discovered interesting information about the miswak. Chemical analysis revealed that it contains a total of 19 natural substances, which are beneficial to dental health. Its natural antiseptics have a bactericidal action, killing harmful micro-organisms in the mouth, the tannic acid it contains has astringent qualities which protect the gums from disease, and its aromatic oils increase salivation. Because of its built-in antiseptics, the miswak needs no cleaning, and because its bristles are parallel to the handle rather than perpendicular, it can reach more easily between the teeth, where a conventional toothbrush often misses. The Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) is a non-profit organisation that prides itself in taking care of South Africa’s indigenous wildlife, both injured and orphaned. CROW receives no financial aid from the government or any large concern, and are therefore solely reliant on the generosity and goodwill of the public and our fundraising initiatives. CROW has on average 600 animals under our care at any given time. As we are not open to the public (except for animal admissions) we have a two-hour guided tour on the last Sunday of every month. The gates open at 10:30 and the tour starts at 11:00. . A donation of R10 per person is asked upon entry. Refreshments are sold before and after the tour. The centre is situated at the end of Coedmore Ave, Yellowwood Park. For further information, please contact CROW on (031) 462 1127 or info@crowkzn.co.za or visit Crow KZN

    NANIMA’S GREEN FINGERS

    Plant native trees
Plant a tree and do your bit to help the climate change crisis. A single tree will filter/absorb 1 ton of carbon dioxide in it’s lifetime. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air and use it as their energy source, producing oxygen for us to breathe. A tree in the temperate zone – found between the tropics and the polar circles-can remove and store 700 to 7,000 pounds of carbon over its lifetime. A tree that shades a house can reduce the energy required to run the air conditioner and save an additional 200 to 2,000 pounds of carbon over its lifetime. Soweto and Lenasia are getting in on the action and doing something about it.. Join them plant a tree. If you can’t plant one donate one visit http://www.trees.co.za
