Salaams Tas, recovering money from defaulting debtors is both an emotionally draining and costly exercise. When transacting using socaial marketing portals such as facebook, twitter etc only dispatch merchandise once you have received proof of payment and the funds are reflecting in your bank account. If you have the indivduals ID number, physical address etc, you can lodge a complaint at the credit bureau. Alternatively if the amount is material it would be in your interest to sign up with a collection agency eg TPN who are registered debt collectors and who levy a percentage on monies received. Inshallah the persons conscience will have them make the payment and spare you the inconvenience.

Its sad. That some times it our own muslim people that avoid paying us and go on like we stole from them when we indeed ask for payment. I'm in the same boat when we owed the lady money she made a big deal got us black listed now the tables are turned she now owes me money she avoids me and goes on like I'm the bad one when I ask her. I have sent out statements and ask for the goods to returned. She is well off but always say I got on for such a small amount.
