Nousheen Denath Suck on a slice of lemon wen feeling nausea

divers use stugeron tablets available over-the-counter at pharmacies. cyclizine can also b used.
would suggest that the divers try whichever tablets they choose a few days b4 to make sure it does not make them drowsy.

ask the diving instructors which remedies they suggest. i would also like to knw wat the pro's suggest.

Muhammed Loonat Chewing gum helps... Also like Farzana M said, keep eyes locked onto the horizon and not water. That's because the body can't understand why u are standing still while the area around u says u moving

Tasneem Parker They have the bands @ xmists. I bought them when I went on a cruise. Didn't help me much. Was naseaus entire time. The nausea tablets made me incredibly sleepy so that's what we did most of that weekend. Sleep sleep sleep. My husband didn't get nauseus tho but took the tablets just in case so also had to sleep.

Asiff Amod I tried skipping breakfast together with cinnerazine and looking at the horizon most of the time...if the sea is rough then I get 2hours max before seasickness hits..its so horrible, there's nothing left in ur tummy...it squeezes every single millilitre out..yuck..and yet some people will munch sandwiches and not be affected at all...

Ayesha Osman Be Careful. Stugeron is used for divers. But most ppl still get sick. Do not use valoid as at 15m and deeper, it may result in hallucinations. Which can be very dangerous.

Shoneez Bhamjee Nothing works its got to do with ur middle ear. Once u get into the water n equalize the pressure in ur ear it goes away. I believe drinking a bit of the sea water helps but I hv never tried it. I suffer from really bad motion sickness but it does dissappear once I'm under water. But the diving experience is most definately worth all that "nausea"

Fatima Amod Motion sickness is caused by the imbalance of fluid levels in ur ear! I suffer from motion too, real bad! Try putting olive oil in ur ears 30mins prior to the journey, I take dizinil tablets for motion sickness and no side effects!! Also I found eating sumthing sour or salty helps!!
