Episode 3 – Main Course Khowse

Recipe Main Course – Khowse

Ingredients

Khowse:

•  1chicken – disjointed
•  1tsp salt
•  1tsp red chillies
•  1tsp ginger/garlic masala
•  1tsp dhana/jeeroo powder
•  1/2tsp garam masala
•  1-2 tins coconut milk
•  3tbsp chana/chickpea flour
•  1 chopped onion
•  Oil
•  spring onion, onion, dhania and fried samoosa pur for garnishing
•  spaghetti/black ink noodles

1. Fry onions in oil for 12-20mins until golden brown. Add chicken and all masalas including ginger garlic. Add water and allow to boil till chicken is soft (falling of the bone).
2. Once chicken is soft, dry out water then add the chana flour and mix. Add coconut milk and let boil for 5-10 mins.
3. Boil spaghetti in water with salt and oil until al dente
4. Serve with spaghetti and garnish with spring onion, dhania, onion and samoosa pur.
